I had a decent stay at Jinglun Hotel, thanks to its great location near the Silk Market and subway stations. The room was comfortable and clean, though it showed signs of wear. However, the bathroom needed attention, and the service experience was quite inconsistent. Overall, it didn't quite feel like a 4-star accommodation, but it provided a reasonable value for the location. 🏨😊

Rooms
6.0
The room was clean and had comfortable double beds, though the bathroom door was a bit worn. I appreciated the humidifier, especially in the dry air.
Service
6.0
While the front desk staff was friendly during check-in, the service lapsed during my later interactions, especially concerning room service and requests.
Location
8.0
The location is excellent, just a short walk to the Silk Market and very close to the Line 1 metro station, making it easy to get around Beijing.
Dining
6.0
The dining options were okay, with a few varieties available, but it wasn't anything special and had limited choices overall.
Facilities
6.0
Facilities were basic and included standard services like room service and housekeeping, but some areas, like the plumbing in the bathroom, needed maintenance.

6.6/10

My stay at Jinglun Hotel was quite average. While the breakfast buffet was impressive with a wide variety of options, the rooms were just standard and the service was a bit inconsistent. The location was convenient for metro access, which was a plus, but overall, I wouldn't say it was worth the price.

Rooms
6.0
The rooms were clean but quite basic, feeling more like a standard American mid-range hotel. The furniture could definitely be updated.
Service

Staff were friendly at check-in, but the service during breakfast was overwhelmed by the crowd. I noticed a drop in friendliness when checking out, which wasn't ideal.
Location

The location is excellent, just half a block from a metro station, making it easy to get around, with lots of places to eat nearby.
Dining

Breakfast had a great variety, and cleanliness was great, but I found the overall dining experience could be hit or miss; some meals weren't worth the price.
Facilities

They offered various services like room service and dry cleaning, which were helpful, but I didn't really use much beyond the essentials.

I had a stay at Jinglun Hotel that was quite mixed. The location was fantastic, just a stone's throw from major attractions and public transport. However, the room and facilities felt outdated and could use some care. The staff was friendly during check-in but less so on checkout, which was disappointing.

Rooms
6.0
The room was clean and included a humidifier, which I appreciated. However, the carpets looked worn and the bathrooms were quite small with some cleanliness issues.
Service
6.0
Check-in was smooth and the staff was initially friendly, but I felt a stark difference in service at checkout. The room service could have been more attentive, as I experienced some hiccups with my dinner delivery.
Location
8.0
The hotel is centrally located, only minutes from the Yingali subway station and the bustling Silk Market. This made it very convenient to explore nearby attractions.
Dining
8.0
The breakfast buffet had a great variety. It was well-organized with ample seating, though I only had breakfast there since other dining options were either expensive or not up to standard.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel provided basic amenities like room service and laundry, but I found some areas of the hotel in need of maintenance. The telephones were particularly poor with connections.

I appreciated the hotel's central location, close to Tiananmen Square and the Silk Market, making it easy to explore the city. However, the room I stayed in felt dated and smaller than expected, with some upkeep issues. Overall, the facilities and service were decent but not really good.

Rooms

The room was clean but felt small and outdated. I appreciated the humidifier for the dry air, but the furniture was not well maintained, and the carpet showed signs of wear.
Service

The front desk staff was polite upon checking in, though I found some staff less friendly during check-out. Room service was hit or miss, with an empty salt shaker and a rushed delivery.

My stay at Jinglun Hotel was a mixed bag. The location was excellent, close to the Silk Market and near a metro station. However, I faced significant issues with the service and room maintenance, which left me disappointed overall.

Rooms

The rooms were average and somewhat outdated, needing upgrades. Unfortunately, I encountered plumbing issues with a non-flushing toilet that couldn't be fixed during my stay.
Service
5.0
While some staff were friendly and helpful, my experiences varied. At times, I felt neglected, especially when trying to exchange money, which took much longer than expected. Additionally, the lack of prompt service left me frustrated.
Location
9.0
The location was a major highlight for me, as it was close to the bustling Silk Market and easy to access the metro. This made exploring the area quite convenient.
Dining
7.0
I only had breakfast at the hotel, and it was quite a generous spread with lots of options. However, I found it cheaper to grab breakfast at a nearby Starbucks, which might be a better option for some.
Facilities

The facilities were standard but not impressive, lacking some modern updates you'd expect at a 4-star hotel. Room service and other amenities seemed to be limited as well.
